After Much Prayer...
Well, after much prayer, I feel led to pursue the senior pastor position. The search team would like for us to come up on the weekend of November 2nd. I have accepted, and will be preaching in view of a call.
Can you say, Yeah God!! The church is in a wonderful community about 90 miles north of the Kansas City area - just 8 miles from the Iowa border, and even includes a parsonage.
Thanks for all of your prayers as we contiue to seek God's perfect will for us.

That's awesome! What city is it in? I can't begin to express how frustrated we were with SP, after having attended there for several weeks. I got the feeling they just don't know what they want. I'm sorry you had to go through all that. I had no idea the process lasted so long, which in my opinion, is just ridiculous. But I'm sure you've sorted through all that, so don't mind my rant :)
