INTERVIEW Accomplished

Well, the BIG interview is now a thing of the past. I interviewed last night for the possible position of senior pastor of a great church in the Kansas City area. We loved meeting the wonderful people on the committee, and enjoyed their hospitality.

It is ALL in the Lord's hand, and we are praying that only God's perfect will to be done here.

Thanks for all of your prayers and have a blessed Sunday :)

Kansas City Bound!

Well, the countdown has begun. We are getting ready to head up to Kansas City for 10 days. We're leaving on Saturday morning, and hope to arrive Saturday evening. We'll be staying with good friends while we're there.

We are planning on visiting lots of friends, as well as our former church in Camden Point. We also have tickets to a new INDOOR waterpark called Coco Key ( cocokeywaterresort.com ) .
We are sure to have a blast!

Our time in KC will end with the BIG interview for a church that may be calling me to be their new senior pastor. Got a few butterflies - but overall the Lord has given me peace - the whole process has been amazing - thanks for the prayers.

Well tomorrow is the day we'll get everything together for the big trip - I'm off of work - so guess I'll be busy getting many things done so we can leave bright and early on Saturday.

Blessings!!!

I Needed this Day!!

After a long week at work - and STILL at the airport... I needed today. Well it actually began quite differently - I performed a wedding in what's called the Annex of Texas Life. Texas Life is where Holly works. I performed the wedding of a co-worker of Holly's. It's actually the 3rd wedding since I have been "out of ministry."

The wedding went off without a hitch - other than them getting hitched - hehe. It was good to see the love in the room - filled with loved ones and family.

When I got home - the family - all jumped in the car... we had lunch and then drove around. We ended up going around the other side of our lake to Airport Park. This particular park has a "beach" with sand minus the crabs. We had a blast wading in the water and letting the waves roll over us. Nothing better than this ... basking in the sun with your family.

Sometimes I am way too busy to enjoy all that God has given me. He's blessed me with a wonderful, beautiful wife, and two precious children. What more could a man ask for.

Thank you, Lord!

Hope that your weekend has been refreshing as well.

Blessings!
